1. What is subscription testing?

A/B testing built for subscription brands. Every test measures subscription outcomes — attach rate — alongside overall conversion. Shoplift provides three capabilities: subscription analytics on every test, custom tests across PDP and cart, and subscription price testing via the Recharge integration.

2. Why are subscription brands underserved by general A/B testing tools?

Most tools treat shopping as a single conversion event. Subscription brands have two purchase paths — one-time and subscribe — with different economics and LTV. General platforms report in aggregate, hiding whether a test helped or hurt the subscription business. On top of that, traditional price testing doesn't work for subscription brands either — the metrics just aren't built for recurring revenue. Shoplift surfaces subscription performance separately on every test, automatically.

3. Can I A/B test subscription prices without Shoplift?

7. How is Shoplift different from Recharge's native A/B testing?

Recharge tests how the widget looks. Shoplift tests whether the offer works, and at what price. They're complementary: Recharge covers widget presentation, Shoplift covers the full subscription experience with proper statistical rigor.

8. Do I need to migrate my existing Recharge selling plans?

9. How are existing subscribers handled during a test?
