The A/B Testing App Built for Subscription Brands

The tools you've been given weren't built for you
Attach rate by channel, visitor type, and geo. Subscription analytics built into every test in Shoplift, automatically.
PDP, cart, landing pages, and Recharge widget. Every step that affects whether shoppers choose subscribe.
The new Recharge integration unlocks real A/B testing on Shopify subscription prices for the first time.

Shoplift was built with subscription brands in mind from day one.
End-to-end subscription testing. Three capabilities, working together
1. Subscription Price Testing
- Subscription price on a subscription-only product
- One-time and subscription price simultaneously
- Mixed catalogs with subscription and non-subscription variants in the same test
- Subscription discount testing (subscribe-and-save percentage in isolation)
- Frequency testing
- Gift and custom bundle subscriptions
- Support for subscription platforms beyond Recharge

2. Subscription Analytics
What this means for you

3. Custom Subscription Tests
Default selection (one-time vs. subscribe-and-save), offer framing (% off, dollar savings, monthly cost, LTV), offer placement (above/below buybox), benefit emphasis (savings, convenience, flexibility, exclusivity).
One-time-to-subscription upgrade prompts, recurring subtotal / LTV previews, perk callouts, button labels, position of the subscribe option relative to one-time
Banner copy, perk callouts, button labels, overlay triggers and styling. All widget surfaces are testable as DOM and CSS changes.
See statistical significance, confidence intervals, and behavioral patterns. Understand not just which variant won, but why customers responded.
Push winning prices live across your catalog with one click. Lock in margin improvements and move to your next test.

Integrated with the #1 subscription app on Shopify
Recharge powers 71% of subscriptions on Shopify and processes more than $20B in annual GMV. Shoplift built a native API integration to unlock real subscription price testing — something that wasn't possible on Shopify until now.
Subscription brands are a first-class citizen, not an afterthought
Every other A/B testing tool sits on top of Shopify as injected JavaScript. Shoplift runs inside the theme editor on Shopify's own servers: no third-party code, no page load impact, no flicker. It's the only Shopify Plus Certified A/B testing platform built this way.
That means 1:1 attribution to actual Shopify orders, not estimated or inferred. For subscription brands where revenue data drives pricing decisions, attribution accuracy
isn't optional.
Can Trust
Every Shoplift test runs with proper statistical significance and 612 analysis parameters. Results break down by audience segment across customer types, traffic sources, and devices. You see which customers responded and how confident you can be in the result. The data is ready to defend your decision.
One Platform
One Platform
The subscription decision happens across PDP, cart, landing pages, and price. Most brands have been duct-taping testing tools together to cover those surfaces. Shoplift
covers all of them, with subscription-segmented results on every
single test.
Pricing was the last piece missing. With the Recharge integration,
it's now in scope alongside everything else.
Trusted by hundreds of top-performing brands
Shoplift is the only Shopify Plus Certified A/B testing and CRO platform.
A/B testing built for subscription brands. Every test measures subscription outcomes — attach rate — alongside overall conversion. Shoplift provides three capabilities: subscription analytics on every test, custom tests across PDP and cart, and subscription price testing via the Recharge integration.
Most tools treat shopping as a single conversion event. Subscription brands have two purchase paths — one-time and subscribe — with different economics and LTV. General platforms report in aggregate, hiding whether a test helped or hurt the subscription business. On top of that, traditional price testing doesn't work for subscription brands either — the metrics just aren't built for recurring revenue. Shoplift surfaces subscription performance separately on every test, automatically.
No. Until the Shoplift-Recharge integration, no A/B platform on Shopify could test actual Recharge subscription prices. Manual price changes are not tests: there's no control group and no statistical confidence.
A native API integration that creates test selling plans on Recharge products with different internal discount calculations, enabling real A/B tests on subscription prices. The first time this has been possible on Shopify.
Shoplift keeps all prices for the same product in sync behind the scenes. Subscription integrity is maintained on Recharge, so you don't end up with customers on different subscriptions to manage after the test ends. Shoppers see one offer, not the test behind it.
The Recharge integration takes one configuration session. Once connected, you can launch your first subscription price test in minutes. The setup is one-time. Every test after that runs the same way as any other test in Shoplift.
Recharge tests how the widget looks. Shoplift tests whether the offer works, and at what price. They're complementary: Recharge covers widget presentation, Shoplift covers the full subscription experience with proper statistical rigor.
No. Shoplift creates test selling plans for each test's duration. Your existing plans and current subscribers are unaffected.
Returning subscribers stay on their existing selling plan and price. Tests apply to new purchase decisions only.
Subscription analytics and custom tests work with any platform on Shopify Plus. Subscription price testing currently requires Recharge — the platform most serious subscription brands are already on. Support for Stay.ai, Bold, and others is on the roadmap.
Subscription analytics and subscription price testing via the Recharge integration are both included on Advanced and Pro plans. Core plans do not include Subscription Testing. See the main pricing page for details.
